How to Play

Awards season is more fun when something's on the line. BFFL turns your Broadway opinions into a competition — pick who gets nominated, lock in your winners, and see how your taste stacks up against other fans.

Before nominations are announced, pick up to 5 nominees per category across all 26 Tony categories. The closer your picks match the real nominees, the more points you earn.

Once nominees are announced on May 5, lock in one winner per category. How confident are you? The bolder your call, the bigger the payoff.

Earn up to 50 bonus points just for playing. Completing your ballot, locking in early, sharing your picks, and building Fan Circles all add to your Spotlights Bonus — separate from your prediction score.

Create a private leaderboard and compete head-to-head with friends. Share your invite code, see who really knows Broadway, and settle it once and for all.

If two players finish with the same score, the tiebreaker goes to whoever completed their ballot earlier. Don't wait until the last minute.

Highest score when the curtain comes down on June 7 takes the bow. Final scores are calculated after the ceremony.
