Official Rules for Participation

Last Updated: April 7, 2026

These Official Rules for Participation apply to the current Broadway Fandom Fantasy League ("BFFL") Awards Season unless separate written rules are published for a specific promotion, feature, or future season.

How to Play (Summary)

Act 1 · Pick the Nominees

Before Tony nominations are announced, make up to five picks per category for who you think will be nominated. You can revise your picks until the nominees ballot locks.

Act 2 · Pick the Winners

Once nominations are announced, pick one winner per category and assign a confidence level. Higher confidence = bigger reward if you're right. Revise until the winners ballot locks.

How Points Work

Correct nominee picks, correct winners weighted by confidence, completion bonuses, and Spotlights bonus points all contribute to your leaderboard score. See How to Play for the full walkthrough.

If there is any conflict between How to Play and the Official Rules for Participation below, the Official Rules will control.

1. Sponsor and Operator

BFFL is sponsored and operated solely by BWAY FAN LLC.

Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, BFFL or any related contest, promotion, prediction activity, leaderboard activity, or other game-related activity in any manner.

2. What BFFL Is

BFFL is a free, recognition-based prediction game for entertainment purposes.

Participants make predictions related to Broadway awards season, including nominee and winner selections, and may participate in leaderboards and Fan Circles within the Service.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, donation, or other consideration is required to participate in BFFL or to improve a participant's standing.

4. No Cash Prize

Unless expressly stated otherwise in separate written rules published by BWAY FAN LLC for a specific promotion, BFFL does not award cash prizes, cash-equivalent prizes, or tangible merchandise prizes.

Participation is primarily for leaderboard placement, recognition, community engagement, and in-Service status.

5. Eligibility

You must meet the eligibility requirements stated in the Terms of Service and any additional requirements published for the current Awards Season.

6. Current 2026 Awards Season

Nominees Phase: predictions open on April 27, 2026 and lock at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Monday, May 4, 2026.

Winner predictions open at 12:00 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 and lock at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Deadlines and times are subject to change in BWAY FAN LLC's reasonable discretion with notice provided through the Service.

7. How to Enter and Participate

Participants may submit nominee predictions of up to five (5) selections per category and winner predictions of one (1) selection per category, together with any applicable confidence level, through the Service.

Predictions may auto-save as you make them and may be revised until the applicable lock deadline. Once a ballot locks for the applicable phase, it may not be changed for that phase of the current Awards Season.

8. How Scoring Works

Scores are calculated under the scoring methodology published in the Service for the applicable Awards Season. Scoring may include correct-pick points, category multipliers, confidence-based scoring, engagement bonuses, and tie-breakers.

For a plain-English overview of gameplay, scoring, and ballot flow, please see How to Play. If there is any conflict between How to Play and these Official Rules for Participation, these Official Rules for Participation will control.

9. Tie-Breakers and Final Decisions

If two or more participants finish with the same score, the tie-breaker rules published in the Service will apply.

In the event of a dispute regarding scoring, rankings, eligibility, or application of these Official Rules for Participation, BWAY FAN LLC's determination, made in good faith and in its reasonable discretion, will be final and binding.

10. Spotlights

Spotlights are virtual in-Service tokens only. They are not currency, have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash or cash equivalents, and may not be transferred except as expressly permitted within the Service.

11. Fan Circles

Fan Circles are optional social groups where participants may compare picks, standings, and recognition with people they choose.

Fan Circles do not affect scoring, eligibility, odds, or official outcomes unless expressly stated otherwise in written rules published by BWAY FAN LLC for a specific feature or promotion.

12. Fair Play

Participants may not manipulate scoring, create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, use bots or automation, exploit bugs or vulnerabilities, or otherwise interfere with the integrity of the Service.

BWAY FAN LLC may suspend or disqualify accounts or adjust rankings or Spotlights balances in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violations of the Terms of Service or these Official Rules for Participation.

13. Void Where Prohibited

BFFL is void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws.

14. Additional Terms

These Official Rules for Participation are part of, and should be read together with, the Terms of Service.

For season-specific details and a more user-friendly walkthrough, please review both Official Rules for Participation and How to Play within the Service.
